WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW WHEN VISITING THE CLUB?

Please be aware of the following guidelines to ensure we keep everybody safe and healthy when visiting our clubs.

  • You will be required to show a Covid Safe Ticket upon arrival to enter the club.
  • We follow government guidelines regarding face covering.
  • Social distancing is not required, but please be respectful of others.
  • We have introduced a new air ventilation system, which removes 99% of airborne bacteria.
  • Please do not come to the club if you feel unwell and let us know if you or anyone in your household develop Covid-19 symptoms.

We have introduced new procedures to keep everyone safe and active in our Clubs. Since reopening, our members have rated us 4.5 out of 5 for safety and wellbeing.

Safety & Social Distancing

The safety of our teams and members is our number one priority, and while things might look a little different, our clubs continue to provide a premium health and fitness experience. We are incorporating extensive cleaning protocols throughout our clubs. Key measures include:

  • Limiting the number of members in certain areas of the club.
  • Hand sanitiser stations are located in reception and throughout the club.
  • Using a viricidal disinfectant cleaning solution, proven to kill enveloped viruses within 60 seconds.
  • Enhanced cleaning schedules to maintain high level of hygiene, particularly across high contact points in the club.
  • Team members are sanitising equipment after every class.

Swimming

Both our pools are open. We've put measures in place to ensure your return to the water is a safe one. We're limiting the number of swimmers per lane (dependent on the length of the pool) and are asking swimmers to swim at 5 metre intervals to ensure they can keep a safe distance between themselves and others.

We've also reintroduced a limited number of swimming lessons, with reduced capacities and at least a 10 minute gap between sessions to prevent any gathering or waiting around in groups.

Courts

We're so pleased that our match-quality outdoor tennis courts are now open. To make sure you stay safe, courts must be booked in advance.

Courts are available for all platinum members, so whether you're a racquets lover or new to the sport, you can enjoy a game of singles or doubles. Group coaching sessions are also back on the timetable.

Stay safe, stay active

If you are planning a visit to a Club, please keep the following in mind:
  • We are closely following government guidelines, and we will amend our procedures in line with any changes to regulations.

  • Help keep yourself safe by wiping down equipment before and after use and washing your hands frequently.
  • Do not remove cleaning materials/hand sanitiser from the Club.
  • Please bring your own towel and water bottle.
  • Please keep social distancing in mind at all times, and leave plenty of space between yourself and other members.
  • Download the David Lloyd mobile app - you'll need to use it to book all classes, courts and kids classes.
  • Please be patient, polite and observe all notices, but of course if you have feedback do let us know.
  • Please remember to wear a face covering in all the indoor communal areas of the Club.
